At some point, you'll want to figure out a comprehensive workout plan but to get started let's keep it simple! 

The most important part of getting started is establishing a routine which, in turn, starts with a positive workout experience. When you are getting back to the gym, try this simple routine.

  • Warm-up on the treadmill 

  • Lat pulldown machine (one of the easiest resistance machines to learn, works your back and biceps)

  • Leg press machine (beginner-friendly and activates the large leg muscles)

  • Elliptical machine (low impact cardio)

  • Chest press (simple-to-use machine for chest and triceps)

  • Ab machine (start building core strength)

All of the strength stations are available with easy-to-use Nautilus equipment at gitfit.

 

 

Remember, don't push yourself too hard.  The first time just spend 3-5 minutes at each station and you'll wrap up in less than 30 minutes - that's a good day!

The workout offers a nice mix of endurance, calorie burn, and strength training. 

On your next visit, add another set or a little extra time to some of the stations.  Focus on establishing a repeatable fitness routine.
