The plants are actually sterile, so it flowers for many weeks, beginning in late spring and into mid summer. Polka Dot Polly forms an attractive low rosette of dark green leaves, with tall stems that stand erect with spikes of well branched spikes with flowers crowding the stem. The flowers are an intriguing deep rose and apricot mix with a soft primrose yellow
